Santhanu Bhagyaraj after winding up ÂSiddu +2Â will be doing the remake of the yester years hit film of his father ÂSuvarillatha ChithirangalÂ. The pre production work for the remake is in full swing and senior Bhagyaraj is hopeful of recreating the magic of the original in the remake also. ItÂs the first time in Tamil that a director is remaking one of his earlier hits himself.
Testing for the second male lead is on and we hear the budding artiste Mahendran has also tried for the same. As far as the heroine role is considered lady luck may smile upon either ÂSubramaniapuram Swathi or ÂPoo Parvathi. Who ever gets the role must be thankful to director Bhagyaraj as the role has good scope for performance.
